Slow Damage extra log: Fujieda appreciation post (WITH SPOILER)

THIS POST CONTAINS SPOILERS OF FUJIEDA'S ROUTE. Please proceed with caution!

(Images-heavy post below)

As I promised before, I just had to make a separate blog post containing spoilers regarding Fujieda's route. Because goddamn, he's just so good, I love him so much and I had to let it out of my system, otherwise I'll explode.

First off, did you know that they have sprites of Fujieda in casual attire, which makes him look like completely different person?

Have you seen it?

NOW YOU HAVE.

Also Fujieda's the one calling out Taku for hiding everything from Towa and pretending things are fine that way, while Towa himself wishes to know about his own past. It might comes off as harsh, but I honestly admire his straightforwardness, seeing Towa's situation just doesn't sit right with him. He even said that he's prepared to face the consequences of his actions for possibly ruining people's lives over uncovering the truth, and he believes Towa shares the same sentiment.

I can't help but to adore his determination and sense of justice...

There's this scene where Towa came to Fujieda's apartment to shelter themselves from heavy rain outside. While Towa just casually took off his wet clothes in the living room, Fujieda said he'll go change in the bathroom. Towa teased him about what he's so embarrassed about since they're both men, but feel free to change in the bathroom if he prefers that.

And guess what, Fujieda just straight-up taking off his clothes in the living room as well.

"You'd thought he'd be more level-headed, but surprisingly he hates losing."

WHAT IS THIS GAP MOE...

"Towa watched Fujieda's desperate attempt of a stripshow as he enjoyed revealing his secrets." YOU JUST HAVE TO MENTION IT AS STRIPSHOW FDFDSJFGG

Anyway in the next scene we found out why he's uncomfortable changing in front of others:

Oh damn such a terrible (sexy) back you have there Fujieda.

Later in the story we learned that these scars are mostly from his childhood, where he's a victim of domestic violence from his parents...

Next one is the scene where Towa finally saw Fujieda's true "smoke" color, it was red instead of white that he's always been seeing. Towa could finally see this after Fujieda raged over what Towa's late mother, who were involved in underaged brothel business, did to his missing little sister, Mei.

Look at this heartbreaking expression... (also as you read in the text, he's choking Towa oh no)

Fortunately, after the tension between them finally calmed down, they continue their investigation. That is when they finally uncovered the big mystery between Towa's true identity, his mother's actual personality, and the dark truth behind her business. Towa finally remembers all forgotten memories about them, and they're enough of shock to make Towa fell into despair that he decided to end his life. But not until Fujieda barged into Towa's room and talked about his feelings.

Apparently after Fujieda finally learned the truth of what happened to Mei who is no longer in this world, he did feel empty, because his life purpose is gone now. However because of that, he could finally think about what would Mei do if she were to faced with this situation.

The answer he came to is that Mei wouldn't want everyone to die or become a murderer. That's why, if Towa's life were also used to be saved by Mei, he must have understand Fujieda's feelings. Fujieda asked Towa to not throw away his own life, the life that Mei's trying to protect, because that must be Mei's last wish before she was killed.

After Fujieda can finally moved on from thinking about Mei and rearrange his feelings, the one person left in his thought is... Towa. Fujieda felt that him and Towa went through the similar pain and experiences, that's why he just couldn't left Towa alone.

I honestly can't... This confession scene hits so hard especially when Fujieda always been the stoic, cold person who moves by logic over emotion, suddenly pour out his feelings to Towa. IT JUST MAKES ME SO SOFT. IT'S THE FUJITOWA BEGINNING SCENE.

Not to mention the scene after that is the Sexy Time.

"Does having sex with me feel good?"

OH MY FDSKFHSLSJDG REALLY? THAT'S WHAT YOU HAVE TO ASK?? ARE YOU FOR REAL FUJIEDA???

"What if I said it was awful?"

"I'm going to think of ways to improve it"

HAHADSHDBDFDSKSDLG I CAN'T BELIEVE FUJIEDA. WHY IS HE LIKE THIS.

"Does that mean you're planning to have sex with me again?"

YOU SAID IT TOWA. YOU SAID IT.

Anyway Towa properly answered his question: having sex with Fujieda was terrifying. Usually Towa were excited of the pain and being hurt while doing sex, but with Fujieda, there was only gentleness that feels so good, it was the first time Towa felt this way when having sex and it actually terrifies him. But it was a good one nonetheless.

Moving onto another topic, Fujieda said that while him and Towa might be bearing similar wounds, rather than "licking each other's wounds", isn't it better to "supporting each other's wounds"? It also sounds more hopeful that way. Towa asked if that means Fujieda are willing to have that kind of relationship with Towa, supporting each other's wounds, and they both agreed about it.

FUJIEDA IS THE MOST WHOLESOME MAN IN THE WORLD I SWEAR.

AAAAAAAAHHHHH.... I'M SO GLAD FOR THEM... I LOVE THEM SO MUCH...

Skip to the ending, Towa ended up living together with Fujieda because he got a new job as Fujieda's assistant at his lawyer firm. Even if Towa hasn't been drawing anything for the past few months, Fujieda encouraged him to do so since Towa genuinely loves drawing after all. This time, Towa's drawing will purely be his own works, free from his mother's influence as Euphoria. Gotta love a supportive boyfriend...

Shortly after, they went to the beach together, because apparently both of them have never gone to a beach or sea before.

Ah yes first date at the beach... So fitting for them...

THIS PART. THIS SPECIFIC PART.

Fujieda used the word「共同作業」(lit: doing something together) in a literal meaning, but Towa laughed because normally it would have different meaning in their situation. Fujieda is clueless about what's wrong with using it, and Towa said if he's messing around, but Fujieda genuinely unaware about the other meaning.

You see, in casual conversation「共同作業」would refer to things that newlywed couple do together at once. For example, cutting wedding cake by holding the knife together.

So in a sense, by using that words, Fujieda might have just admitted that he's married to Towa.

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHH I CAN'T I JUST CAN'T NOT LOVE HIM

FUJIEDA RYO WHY ARE YOU LIKE THIS???? HOW IS YOUR GAP MOE BE THIS CUTE????

It doesn't stop at that, because later Towa also mentioned "I thought Fujieda excels at everything, but apparently he sucks at cooking." He can't even make a scramble egg...

On the other hand, Towa, who have never cooked before, were able to make a quite decent French Toast that it surprised Fujieda.

At this point I can only makes incoherent screaming and cries towards everything that Fujieda do, so I'm going to stop here.

Thank you for reading my nonsense fangirling post, I hope it could entertain you even just a little, and more importantly, please give Fujieda Ryo all the love he deserves.
